National Strategy for International Education 2025

MIA Members operating in the international education arena may be interested in the National Strategy for International Education 2025 document that was released by the Government on 30 April 2016. It sets out a 10-year plan for developing Australia’s role as a global leader in education, training and research. It provides a framework of priorities for the Australian international education community to strengthen, promote and grow the sector.

The Government reports that the National Strategy will enable Australia’s international education sector to be more adaptive, innovative and globally engaged. It will strengthen our internationally recognised education system, increase global partnerships and drive collaboration with local communities and international partners. The National Strategy has been developed in close consultation with the sector and across all levels of government.
